The first thing Dan did was install that utility tub - I don't know how we would have cleaned up all that paint without it. Even after painting for hours, Melissa is going strong!
The laundry room is right next to the kitchen. You wouldn't believe how we had to scrub it down. Luckily, we had help rinsing the floor after mopping with ajax when the washer broke down.
